Counties

The Section Final of the Triples against St Lawrence was won by the Lenham team comprising Alan Morton, Terry Clifton and Peter Munn.  This means that Terry Clifton gains his County Badge - congratulations Terry!  Their next match will be at the County Finals Day at Bromley on Thursday 17 July.

Club Triples Day

The Club Triples Day will take place on Saturday 26 July - the start time will depend on how many teams sign up (the form is on the Men’s notice board).  This is a great opportunity to find out what it’s like to skip a triples team - all you have to do is find two other people who are prepared to join up with you and let you do it!  Teams may be mixed or single sex, experienced or ambitious, competitive or laid back.  Be imaginative and surprise your opponents.

County Mollie Cleggett Competition

The Ladies Section won their County Mollie Cleggett competition match on 12th July against Loose.  We wait to hear of our next opponents.
This is a knockout competition for clubs throughout Kent and consists of two rinks, one at home (Lenham) and one away (in this case, Loose).  If one team wins and one loses then the aggregate of shots comes into play.

Tuesday Night Mixed Triples - Club League

Many thanks to all those who put their name on the list as being interested in taking part.  It looks like we have the 30 names we wanted so that we can have six squads of five players each.  Each week the team captains will pick their team from their squad.  Hopefully we can get going on Tuesday 22 July.
