Each year, both Men's and Ladies' Captains were entitled to make an award to any member of their Section who had, in their opinion, contributed beyond the call of duty to supporting the Club and its activities.

The award was initiated by the Ladies' Section in 2004 but not adopted by the Men's Section until 2011.
Following the restructuring of the Club's organisation from the 2024 season (which abolished both the Men's & Ladies' Sections) the awards continued to be made with both nominated by the Club Captain.
The recipients are usually announced at the Club's Presentation Evening each November.

The Men's Captain's Trophy was presented to the Club by Alan Morton in 2011
